Vattenfall Cyclassics 2011

Movistar Vattanfall cyclassics 2011

Movistar Team Cycling will partake in the Vattenfall Cyclassic 2011 on August 21st. This one day race is  located in Hamburg, Germany, and features top riders and teams that focus on sprint wins.
The course is 250km long that loops through and about the Northern German city, and has  one climb up the Waseberg were the route crosses this hill several times.

Movistar Team Cycling took JJ Rojas and luis Pasamontes into the final kilometers and Rojas sprinted his way to the main pack of sprinters, but was no match for Edvald Boasson Hagen who won his 4th race this summer. I did see the finish, and Rojas was very close to Hagen and the other sprinters, but just did not have the quickness they posses on the stage. I would love to include some graphics but cannot, since there are no photos of the event on the internet as of today, I will keep looking though!
